Carrie learned real estate development at the her father's side in the family firm. She has remained passionate about development, specializing in Destination Adventure resorts. She loves the outdoors and all it has to offer. She is a wilderness emergency first-responder and advanced guide in canyoneering, hiking, trekking, climbing and horseback riding.

Her other passion is helping people. She has decades of experience in humanitarian work both in the US and abroad--Africa, Asia and Latin America--as CEO and/or founder of several organizations including Choice, Ascend Alliance, Engage NOW and Epic HEART Adventures.
